Located east of Santa Barbara Blvd, south of Hancock Bridge Parkway and going all the way south to the river the SE section of the Cape will offer less choices than the other three. The main reason for less new construction in the Southeast is because it's already the most built out. Cape Coral's roots are in the SE starting south at the Yacht Club. After fifty plus years of building, vacant lots are not as available compared to the NE, NW or SW areas.
Southeast Cape Coral is the closest to the Yacht Club area and services on the Del Prado Blvd corridor. Also, getting on major roads to access connections to Fort Myers and points east is slightly quicker being in the SE area. The SE has the highest ratio of homes built early on but a lot of newer style homes are mingled throughout.
