Cape Regatta Condo has varying addresses because the layout of the complex is large and unique because of the wraparound, "L" shape of the property that entails two street locations. With approximately 640 of Direct Gulf Access seawall this complex offers a lot of waterfront views.
The community pool is placed right at the point of the property facing intersecting gulf access canals for a wide open water-view from the pool patio area.
The complex was constructed in 1984 and is a wood frame type of structure. There are 26 units in the complex with five buildings and all are two bedrooms and two baths as the original design.
The units are all basically the same size at 1186 square feet of living except for 8 units that are slightly larger at 1198 square feet. One building houses two units and is the one story structure located closest to Cape Coral Parkway - these two units do not have a waterfront view.
The other four buildings house six units apiece with each building having two of the 1198 square foot units.
All of the units have interior laundry closets that can house full size laundry machines. All of the units have screened in lanais and 24 of them enjoy the waterview.
This is a Direct Gulf Access waterfront community with no bridges to go under to navigate out to open water.
There is a wood dock that runs along a good portion of the seawall with dockage available on a "first come first serve" basis. The ride out to open water is approximately 25 minutes navigating the canal system at an idle speed of six mph.
Just to the east is Thunderbird Lake which is actually comprised of four lake features, the lake can be accessed by navigating under a bridge which runs under Skyline Parkway.
There are carports available for sun protection.
This is a great area of SW Cape Coral with fine waterfront single family homes in the general area.
Close by is Tarpon Point and Cape Harbour and all that they offer in regard to shopping and waterfront dining.
