Like most of Florida, Cape Coral had a huge number of foreclosures when the market fell in the 2000's. In fact, it was in the top locations - nearly equal to Miami and even Las Vegas. Now that prices are rising and the market is stabilizing, foreclosures are dwindling every month. We still have a few bank-owned (REO) foreclosures in the city, and you'll find most of them listed on these pages.
However, if you are specifically looking at foreclosures to "find the deal", I would like you to know that the banks are not really lowering the prices on foreclosures and short-sales like they did eight years ago. You are just as likely to find the same prices with the regular homes for sale, and without the possible headaches. So I encourage you to let me help you find your investment property or home from all the listings.
If you're looking for oceanfront foreclosures, use our Search tool and try Fort Myers or one of the other nearby beaches. The listings on this page are just for the city of Cape Coral. You may also call or contact me for a complete list of all the Cape Coral/Fort Myers Metro area short-sales and foreclosures. I'll be happy to help!
